I was her nieghbor on Morehouse Rd when I was a kid there nearly 40 years ago....I delivered her newspapers and helped her paint her house. She was very pleasant and insightful to me and I still think of her even today in 2022. May she rest in peace.

Dear Ray.....I have just now read of your mother's death in our local Southern Dutchess News. My sincere condolences to you. I hope you remember me....you used to go on those glorious fishing trips with my dad (Jerry)! Both my parents are now also deceased, so I understand your loss. Your mother sounded like a wonderful woman and I'm sure you have many treasured memories of her. I hope you're enjoying life in California and, again...my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you...Gail

Dear Ray and Debbie, Althought I've never met either of you, your Mom talked about you often. I graduated from WCS with Shirley and we've always kept in touch on and off. When she worked at Eden Park, my mother was a patient and Shirley was so very, very good to her and always accompanied here to the hospital when it was necessary for her to go there. I was so sorry to hear of her death as I had talked to her a few months ago and she seemed fine. Love and fond rememberances of your sweet mother. Joan Terralavoro

Our condolences to Shirley's family.
Bob and I worked with Shirley in the early seventies. We spoke with Shirley about 2 months ago and were reminiscing about old times. We remember Shirley as a kind and caring person, with a wonderful sense of humor, always ready to great you with a smile. She will be missed.
Sincerely, Lorraine & Bob Tracey

May I offer my sincere condolences to Shirley's family. I worked with Shirley at Rite Aid in the pharmacy and remember her as a very caring person. She also shared with her co-workers her recipe for "Shirley's Chocolate Pecan Pie" which I have a copy of, but know that it would never taste as good as the ones she would bring in for us to enjoy. She will be remembered and missed. Sincerely, Sharon Morris

Debbie and Ray,
I have been living in NC for 15+ years but now and then your mom and I wrote to each other and talked on the phone. I worked with her in the early 70's at TCI in Fishkill. Your mother's humor kept me always looking at the bright side of life and made me look forward to coming to work each day. Even though the years have passed by and I have been removed from the Hudson Valley for all this time, I carry within me fond memories of your mother and when I think of her I will always have a smile on my face and joy in my heart for she has left with me, countless hours of wonderful and happy stories about YOU both and her life as a young girl. What greater gift can anyone be remembered for than sharing themselves and their heart? Cindy Olivett Richter

I'm very sorry to hear about Mrs. Niznik's death. She was a wonderful, caring woman. She and her husband helped me considerably. I particularly enjoyed her upbeat, inspirational attitude. I think back fondly to the time I spent with Ms. Niznik and the other parents. I will never forgt you. I send my condolences to Ray and the Debbie.
