Dear DeLisle Family, please forgive the lateness of this note! When I learned of your mother's passing from my mother (and your former neighbor) Patricia Pratt, I took down the e-mail address of the funeral home and put it in my book bag, meaning to send my condolences. When I switched bags, my note was misplaced for over a year until I discovered it this weekend. I'm embarrassed by the oversight, but hope you'll forgive me. I was very sorry to learn of your mother's death. I didn't know her well, but she seemed like a nice lady and I know how wrenching the loss of a parent is. I lost my father in June 2008, and though the hurt has dimmed, I still miss him and always will. A hole opens in your life when a parent dies. I still have my mother, but I can't imagine losing her! Please know that you have my deepest sympathy, and my wishes for healing are no less sincere for being so belated. May you take comfort in knowing that your mother is in God's loving care, and in remembering happier times with her.

Ed, Michele and Dave, I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She was a kind person and had a wonderful sense of humor. I have many great memories of us as kids at your house. She will be missed by all of us. Please know you are in my thoughts, heart and prayers.

Ed and Family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Although I did not know your mom, she sounded like a special person and touched alot of peoples lives.
