Dear Mrs. Wells & all family, I am VERY sorry for your loss(es). I was actually a friend of Matt's over 20 years ago @ SUNY. Last PM I had a peaceful, pleasant dream about him, and we were w/your family. This AM I looked for him 1st thing to find all this news. I can only hope my dream means something. It was good. In the meantime, UR all in my heart, thoughts & prayers. Love, Camilla

In my later years in the Postal Service Ka-bob and I worked together. I was an expeditor on the dock. Ka-Bob would relieve me when I went out to lunch. ka-bob and I retired together on the same day in the same year.
WE had some great times at the Union picnics at Willcox Park and at the Christmas parties.
My deepest sympathy to the family of Lyndon Ka-Bob Wells.

Brenda, Eli, and family--I can't even find the words to express what I'm feeling at the news of Ka-Bob's passing. You two were always such a huge part of my life until we all kind of moved to separate parts of the map. I've thought of you often and just smiled at all the wonderful times we spent together. I loved you both so much. I'm sure that Ka-Bob is just chuckling at the way we're all grieving. He lived life to the fullest-for sure. God bless all and RIP my friend. Love, Mary Ann

Ka-bob was a good, good man. During all the hard times doing union work, he always remained wise and very much in control---while pulling all this off with a great sense of humor and playfulness. Again--he was a really good man. You are all in my thoughts. Carla La Greca

In the old GMF building in Wappingers, there was a beautiful collage of stamps that had been found loose in the mail. Ka-Bob was the one who started putting them on the wall, and he told me that he always tried to make sure each one added was unique.
I will always remember what a wonderful, funny, smart person he was.
My sincere condolences to his family and to all who knew him.

I fondly remember my early years working at the usps in wappingers falls. Ka-bob made it his mission to create an enjoyable work environment. After 2 years I began active in the union and he played a large roll in my participation. He was a wonderful mentor along with many others. Over the years we shared stories about our kids and families. He will be missed.

It is with very deep sadness we note the passing of Ka-Bob. He was in all my classes growing up across the street from me. Yes, he was a Big Tease !! I didn't figure that out as a child, but look back and chuckle over the many antics. My family, Gail and Tom Wild, and my married family , Michael and John Kondor share this expression on his passing. RIP dear friend, Ka-Bob. May your family know you will be missed by many. With Love, Linda Wild Kondor. .

Brenda and Family: I was really saddened to read Ka-Bob's obit in this morning's PJ online. Ronda and Kabob and I were pretty close in the early years as I was only 3 when I became Ronda's uncle and 6 when Kabob came along. As time passed we then slowly drifted apart. I was never known as "Uncle Ronnie", just Ronnie. I was Doris' brother.
