Cannot believe it’s going on 14 years since we lost this amazing legend. Paul was my track captain and an Olympian beast on the field. An absolutely incredible athlete and all around nice guy. He was a big brother who was always humble . He taught me self esteem when I had little. I wish I had more time to know you . We had a lot in common even though in my head you were pretty much a Hercules level legend. I think about you every so often Paul and miss you. You are a legend beyond in my mind.

I was also Paul's naighbor MEDINA FAMILY in 13 and we are truly hard hit by this having a young man at home reaching same goals and idolized Paul as he was always so friendly and polite and looked like his life so filled with lovely people, girlfriends, etc...Obviously something was wrong and we couldn't detect, that makes me feel so sad and like a failure but please Paul and Family know that this was truly a mistake and he was a great kid in God's book this I know for sure. Our deepest condolences as we too are raising young boys in the valley and will take this as a learning experience
Love always

Paulie, our holidays and family get-togethers just won't be the same anymore without you there. For example, i will miss that big happy smile that i used to see all the time as you walked into the room, which would instantly put a smile on my face and joy in my heart. I will miss the little talks we used to have, and the stories you used to share with me about your sports, which you always made sound so exciting. You are truly a winner and our shining star. Your presence will be sorely missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers forever, Paulie.
Farewell nephew....
Love, Uncle Joe and Aunt Mercy

I was a friend of Paul's from Florida. To think that he is gone is the hardest thing to come to terms with. Although, he is not gone, but an angel watching over each and every one of us. He really and truly was always great to be in the same room as. He had this energy that couldn't be stopped. There is not one person Paul didn't have an impact on. My condolences to Paul's family and friends. Paul, you will always and forever have a place in my heart.

I was Paul's neighbor and would see him each day with a smile on his face. I was so impressed by his polite ways.
I would see Paul doing laundry all the time and thought to myself how nice it was that such a handsome young man was always doing his laundry!
I wish I had the opportunity to have known him better and to have helped him if he needed it.
All the neighbors here will miss Paul dearly and we are thankful to have had him as our neighbor.
My heartfelt prayers are with you always.
