Thank you family and friends, here I sit, 07/20/2011, more then a year has passed since mom entered eternity. I miss her so, so, much, but like the post from Michael and Therese , states above "do not stand at my grave and cry--I am not there...I did not die..."She believed that! She believed in eternal life through Christ, that is the hope I have that some day we will all meet again. When I am missing her I think of the reception she had when she arrived in heaven. When she was on her death bed she kept putting her hand to her ear then to her throat. I could not understand at the moment what she meant, but now the Lord has given me understanding to those movements, she was saying "I hear the angels singing, I hear familiar voices, welcoming me" see her hand did not go down along her throat, it went up like something was coming out, and then behind her ear suggesting that she could hear" Oh, what a good God we serve. She died at 11:00 pm on April 17th.
Biblical significance to that is that 11:00 is right on time,HE is never too late. She wanted to die on the same day her mother did = the 17th as her "number" was 7. She was 77. Hallelujah!! If you are reading this page I want you to know I cherish your love. Liz

God bless you Mom.... You are loved!
Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep
I am not there...
I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow...
I am the diamond glints on snow...
I am the sunlight on ripened grain...
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you waken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of gentle birds in circling flight...
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there...
I did not die...

I'm very sorry to hear your mom has passed on. I have wonderful memories of her and your father when I stayed with Jeannie at the cabin next door to your parents. Your mom use to watch little Margie for Jean and I so we could go out. You are all in my thoughts at this time and I will cherish the memories I have of her. Love,
Ellen
