To the Mordigal Family,
I was stunned and saddened when I saw the article about John in the newspaper. I talked with him just a couple of weeks ago. I was so glad to see him at the mailbox, because I hadn't seen him in quite some time. I will miss our mailbox chats- he was so nice to me. My sincerest sympathy to you all. Your letter carrier, Nancy

I am sorry to read about John's passing. I'll miss having such a good friend. He made my day when we would wait and watch for me to say "Hello" while delivering the mail and lately chatting his ear off on the phone.
