To Rose & Family,
I was very very saddened to hear about Joe's passing. I worked for him for several years during the 80's in Design Practices. What a wonderful and kind man he was. In the many years that I worked for IBM, I never knew anyone quite as dedicated to the company as Joe. He had a special way of making all of his employees feel as though they were part of a family. May he rest in peace.

Dear Rose & boys, I am truly saddened to hear about Joe's passing. I worked as a high school co-op for Joe in 1979/1980. Joe moved heaven & earth to hire me in 1980 at the age of 18. Personnel told him at the time that I would never stay; that I would get married and have a baby & leave after a few years. Well I did get married and have a baby - she's 15 (tomorow on Joe's bday) and I am happy to say I will celebrate 30 yrs w/IBM this July 7th thanks to Joe. I remember Joe as a very kind, generous boss, who always took time to stop & say hi to his employees and play a game of '3 coins' which was alot of fun. Rose, it was really nice that you & Joe stopped by about 3 years ago to attend one of my jimmy-jam's. It was great to see you both and Joe was still the same kind, highly spirited man who loved & lived life to its' fullest. May Joe rest in peace and may the memories of your life together sustain you for the rest of your lives. Joe was truly one of a kind and I was very lucky to have known him !

Dear Rose and Family,
I was sorry to hear about the death of Joe. I worked for him in Design Practices in the late 1970's and always admired his commitment to IBM and his employees. I don't know if you remember me, but I saw the two of you not long ago at the diner on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. We were talking about the time Joe hooked up your doorbell that would keep ringing if there was any water on your basement floor. He had a great imagination and was both a deducated manager and asset to IBM. May he now rest in peace! My prayers are with you and your family.

Mr. Joseph J. Isole , Jr.
June 22, 1925 - June 19, 2010
To Mrs. Isole (Rose), children, Mark and Thomas, and Sister, Teresa:
Im saddened to hear of Joes death on June19, 2010. I send prayers and thoughts to your family at this difficult time.
I worked for Joe, while he was Design Practices Director at IBM from 1972 to 1976, as a secretary with Mary Sholdis and Mary McNeill. Joe was a strong, kind man, always thinking of his family, with strong work ethics and a drive for perfection.
Rose, I remember meeting you and the boys over the years, at work, or when we saw each other when dining out. Joe always gave his best, especially to his family. Each time you think of Joe, may you smile, may you love him more than ever, because of his caring, kindness, and support as only a Husband and Dads love can provide to his loving wife and children. Your Dad loved you all the days of his life, and will guide you throughout your years.
Please know your family is in my prayers and hearts today. I could not be there, as Im in Florida with my Mom. I will think of you at Joes mass and burial at Calvary Cemetery. Calvary is where our McCrief family plot resides, from the second parish we also attended from 1962 to the 1980s, from the original parish of Nativity on Union Street, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. God will look over and guide him now, as he is laid to rest.
With Peace and Sympathy, Pamela A. McCrief
