To Wanda's Family,..I worked with Wanda at Poughkeepsie IBM in 1994.Wanda was one of those rare persons that had a real presence about her;bright, cheerful, stunningly attractive, her personality was a well blended mix of wit, charm and quiet reserve. She touched and made a lasting impression on those who only knew her briefly. I can not imagine what her loss is to those closest to her. I will remember Wanda in my prayers and pray God will ease your pain quickly turning memories that now bring tears to those that that bring smiles and laughter once again. With Heartfelt Condolences Stephen Garrison

I wanted to let all of you know, especially Wanda's mom, that my heart goes out to you and I will always remember Wanda. She was a beautiful, caring, and courageous person and although I did not know her all that long, I could tell she was someone special. No matter what she always had a smile on her face. God always takes the special people to become his angels so that they can help heal others through prayer. I wish I could have done more for you to help make things easier.
You will always be in my prayers.

To the Fowler-Gonzalez Family:
We pray that you find peace and comfort on your journey of healing. We have so many great memories of Wanda as a neighbor, classmate and friend. We studied together from Elementary School through college in our little town of Humacao, Puerto Rico. She was the happiest person in our cool geek group. Wanda was a very well balanced girl; she was very responsible with her studies and she always had time for fun. Also, she was a very good volleyball player! Wanda; you will live forever with us in our hearts. We will keep you and your entire family in our thoughts and prayers. Love; Hilda, Luis and family

I was so sorry to read about Wanda's passing in today's paper. I remember her from our junior high school days and gym class. Though she probably wouldn't have remembered me, I recall how much fun she seemed to have-- often laughing and smiling. I also remember how good she was in basketball. We played (SHE played, I wasn't all that good...) together one year at Van Wyck and she left a lasting impression on me because of her personality and skill.
My thoughts are with you, Wanda's family and friends.
